"A man was arrested in Oakland on Friday in connection with the murder. 38-year-old Curtis Martin of Oakland is in custoday, although police said he would not discuss Williams' death or the missing child."
"Williams was found beaten and shot to death around 4 a.m. at the park by Berkeley police. The missing child was reported to Oakland police early Saturday morning by her relatives."
"Police are continuing investigations and said they are still unsure of the relationship between Martin and Williams and why she was killed."
