[KOCO.com]  10/30/2009, Edmond, OK -- "Edmond police are looking for a man who they said tried to grab a 15-year-old girl."

"Police in Edmond said the attempted abduction happened near 21st and Boulevard streets shortly after 3 p.m. The girl said she was grabbed by the wrist as a man tried to pull her into a white minivan, police said."

"Investigators said the suspect is a white male in his mid 30s who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He may was wearing a black baseball cap and a brown jacket. They said the older white minivan he was driving may have damage to the driver's side."

"Police said they were also looking for a second driver in a newer blue or grayish car, who they said helped the girl escape the attempted abduction by driving up to the intersection. Police want to question the driver in order to get additional details about the incident."

"Edmond police asked anyone with information to call 405-359-4454."
