[WCTV.tv]  10/14/2009, Tallahassee, FL -- "This evening at approximately 6:20PM, Leon County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Larry Folsom was on I-10 when he observed the suspect vehicle traveling east bound. Deputies stopped the vehicle on I-10, just east of Mahan Drive, and arrested Jose Masscarro without incident. The child was recovered unharmed. Leon County Sheriff’s Detectives are in contact with Texas law enforcement officials and arraignments are being made to return the child to his mother. Jose Masscarro will booked into the Leon County Jail."

"Justin police are looking for Malakai Izaak Mascorro, who was last seen around 11:00 p.m. October 13th. Officers say the suspect is Jose David Mascorro, the boy's non-custodial father They believe he took the toddler in the middle of the night while his mother was sleeping."

"Police say Mascorro took the cell phones and disabled the home phone so the mother could not call 911. Police believe he is driving a white 2008 Dodge Magnum bearing Texas license plates Bb6k357."

"If you have any information or spot the vehicle, please call 9-11."
